Well I actually didn’t give this any thought until I was checking out the tattoo news for today. But apparently in Sweden there is no age limit for anyone to receive a tattoo. But this could alter in the future. Due to some parents of underage (children under 18) beingfurious about their kids coming home with tattoos. Three father went so far as to calling the police. But there is not a law specifying a person has to be to receive a tattoo. Here’s what a policeman had to say about that complaint. “There is nothing in the law which says you are breaking the law if you tattoo anyone underage,” Lars Andersson of the Hässleholm police told the paper. So this got me thinking do you think there ought to be an age limit on anyone getting a tattoo? I personally think their should be. I mean they wouldn’t require 12 year olds jogging around with their bodies covered in tattoos would they. I mean as teenagers you alter you mind ever week so getting a tattoo before you are 18 could result in a massive regret of whatever you got inked on your body. Like I have said numerous times before one of the dumbest things you could possible do is get a tattoo of a lover’s name on your body. Because let’s face it you over likely won’t be with that person for the rest of your life. And a lot of times one times you get your lover’s name tattooed on you it jinxes your relationship and you finish up breaking up. But if you absolutely must have your lover’s name tattooed on you, there is a better route you can go. First of all you could get their name tattooed in a different language so only you would know what it said. Or you could get their birthday tattooed on you again in a different language, or their Zodiac sign or something to that effect. But think long and hard before you go through with something as serious as a tattoo. Alright, I know today isn’t Wednesday but I have another post sort of related to celebrities. I was reading the latest tattoo news and I found this story about singer Charlotte Church. He is demanding that her fella and sister of her one year elderly daughter as well as the kid he is currently pregnant with to get her name tattooed somewhere on his body. He believes that because they are not married that he ought to do something special for her. He’s even started to think up tattoo designs for him. I honestly do not know how much truth their is to this story but I think it is ridiculous.
